Oracle feasibility in UIM

Issue/Introduction

We're utilizing SQL Database for UIM to store our data. We're monitoring Oracle databases using the Oracle probe and have multiple instances configured.

Could you please clarify the following:

1. Which table stores environment details like usernames and passwords for the Oracle probe?

2. Is there an automated way to update passwords for all Oracle database instances simultaneously, rather than manual updates?

We're seeking a solution to streamline password management and avoid manual intervention whenever passwords are reset.

Resolution

If the profiles are configured through IM data will not be saved in DB. If its configured through MCS, then its stored in SSRV2Field.

So the username and password details can be pulled from DB if profiles are configured through MCS. Coming to auto updating difefrent DB instances passwords is not possible OOTB niether with IM nor with MCS.
