Issue/Introduction

The vmss2core tool was previously hosted on the VMware flings website, which has been decommissioned.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi

Cause

Providing an alternate location to download vmss2core.exe tool, used for converting vmsn and mem files to memory dumps.

Resolution

The file vmss2core.exe is now available in https://archive.org/download/flings.vmware.com/Flings/Vmss2core/

Alternatively, vmss2core comes packaged with VMware Workstation Pro.
