The "Customize Portal" plugin in the "More" section fails to load in the VMware Cloud Director Provider Portal

Issue/Introduction

Scenario 1. When navigating to the VCD Provider Portal > More Tab, the "Customize Portal" plugin fails to load.
        
Scenario 2. When navigating to the VCD Tenant Portal, the "More Tab" is missing.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1.

Cause

This issue occurred because the ng-hyper-plugin versions 1.x.x and 2.x.x were removed from the VCD UI. As a result, the Customize Portal in the provider portal and the More option menu in the tenant portal were not rendering properly.

Note:

• The plugin (Ng-Hyper) is used to create, manage, and monitor resources such as virtual machines, storage, and compute across the hyper-converged infrastructure.
• It allows administrators to provision virtual machines with storage from HCI platforms seamlessly, making it easier to scale resources within the cloud environment.

Resolution

• Download the missing plugins from Broadcom Support Portal
• Upload the missing plugins to Cloud Director using API explorer
• Reinstall the VMware Hyper Plugin for VMware Cloud Director 

This issue requires intervention from Technical Support to proceed with the resolution. Please note the article ID and submit a Broadcom Support Request.
