For Aria Operations version 8.17.x and below, please follow the below steps:
- On the left pane, click Environment -> Inventory
- Expand the Adapter Instances category and then Expand the affected adapter type of the parent adapter of the affected object(s).
- Select the parent adapter of the affected object(s).
- In the Search Filter enter the name of the affected object(s).
- Verify the collecting state of the object is "Not collecting", "Unknown" or "Stopping".
- If the collecting state is "Collecting" it may indicate the affected object is being collected by another parent adapter.
- Unselect the parent adapter and verify if the affected object is listed with multiple entries.
- Select the affected object(s) by left-clicking and then click Start Collecting (play icon).
- To select multiple objects at once you can hold Shift to select multiple objects in a row or hold CTRL to select multiple individual objects.
For Aria Operations version 8.18.x and above, please follow the below steps:
- On the left pane, click Operations -> Configurations > Inventory Management

- Expand the Adapter Instances category and then Expand the affected adapter type of the parent adapter of the affected object(s).
- Select the parent adapter of the affected object(s).
- In the Search Filter enter the name of the affected object(s).
- Verify the collecting state of the object is "Not collecting", "Unknown" or "Stopping".
- If the collecting state is "Collecting" it may indicate the affected object is being collected by another parent adapter.
- Unselect the parent adapter and verify if the affected object is listed with multiple entries.
- Select the affected object(s) by left-clicking and then click Start Collecting (play icon).
- To select multiple objects at once you can hold Shift to select multiple objects in a row or hold CTRL to select multiple individual objects.
