Agent Incorrectly Reporting Windows Server 2022 Instead of Server 2025

Issue/Introduction

After installing Agent 8.9.6 on Windows Server 2025 the Console shows the Operating System as Windows Server 2022 and dascli systeminfo shows:

<OperatingSystem>
      <Name>Microsoft Windows 2022 Server ....</Name>
</OperatingSystem>

Environment

• App Control Agent: Version 8.9.6
• App Control Server: 8.10.4 and lower
• Microsoft Windows Server 2025

Cause

The Agent and Server versions in use do not fully support Windows Server 2025.

Resolution

Both steps below will need to be completed in order to have full resolution:

• Upgrade Server to version 8.11.0 or higher.
• Upgrade Agent to version 8.10.0 or higher.
