Customer Enhancement - Having CDD data source data in Metric view so that alerts can be created.

Issue/Introduction

We worked with CDD team to get CDD data source added to our tenant. However, this data is not available in Metric view to create alerts out of it. Can this be looked as a potential enhancement? The idea is to alert/send metric data to teams channel as an example:
