Getting the following error applying CA Librarian maintenance: GIM40501E ** THE DISTLIB VALUE (AALJSRC) SPECIFIED FOR SRC LIBTSOGN IN SYSMOD RO65069 DOES NOT MATCH THE DISTLIB VALUE (AALJSAMP) IN THE SRC ENTRY FOR LIBTSOGN.

Issue/Introduction

 

Attempting to apply the latest CARS maintenance for CA Librarian, but encountered the following message: 

GIM40501E ** THE DISTLIB VALUE (AALJSRC) SPECIFIED FOR SRC LIBTSOGN IN SYSMOD RO65069 DOES NOT MATCH THE DISTLIB VALUE (AALJSAMP) IN THE SRC ENTRY FOR LIBTSOGN.

 

 

Environment

Cause

LIBTSOGN was mistakenly distributed as a ++SAMP member. It should be a ++SRC member.

APAR RO64832 must be Received, Applied and Accepted to delete the LIBTSOGN ++SAMP entries from both the Target and Distribution libraries before RO65069 can be Applied and create the ++SRC entries.

 

Resolution

 First - RECEIVE, APPLY and ACCEPT RO64832.  

After RO64832 is applied and accepted, LIBTSOGN will be deleted from the CALJSAMP and AALJSAMP libraries. 

Second - 

1. RECEIVE RO65069 
2. Run the SMP/E job listed in the HOLDDATA of RO65069
3. APPLY and ACCEPT RO65069

After RO65069 is applied and accepted, LIBTSOGN will reside in the CALJSRC and AALJSRC libraries.
