NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Issue/Introduction

Maintenance was applied and rolled out to Netmaster. The region is not initializing correctly.
The JESMSGLG shows several of these messages

NM3040 NCLID nnnnnnn: $IPCALL aaaa ERROR 12 COND LOADFAIL_ERROR

Environment

Netmaster for TCP/IP 12.2

Cause

Mismatched runtime libraries

Resolution

When maintenance is applied, the following libraries must be updated:
In the STEPLIB
hlq.CC2DPLD

In the RUNSYSIN member
hlq.*EXEC (up to 5 PDS's)
hlq.MAPO

Additionally, the hlq.PANLDIS and hlq.MODSDIS must be brought up to date. See the Update VSAM Data Sets section of the doc for recommendations.
The preferred method is to follow the instructions in the Automatic Updates via VSAMUPDATE parameter group subsection and roll the updated version of the VSAM files out to other systems along with the updated Target libraries.

Additional Information

Logon to the region may be successful, but will likely show failed parameter groups. Selecting the failed parameter groups could show something like

Go back and check the JESMSGLG and activity log (LOG1 DD) for errors.
