NSX upgrade pre-check error was received for Edge nodes, indicating that downtime for Tier0 is not optional

Issue/Introduction

After running the NSX upgrade pre-check, the results returned a WARNING status message:

The current order of edge nodes in group ########-####-####-####-##########a7 is not optimal for Tier0 down time. Kindly reset plan for system to recalculate the order.

Cause

This occurred because the existing upgrade order of the Edge Nodes is not optimised for minimising Tier0 downtime during the upgrade.

Resolution

Navigate to the Edges Upgrade tab, which controls the order in which Edge nodes or clusters are upgraded. Click on "RESET," and the upgrade coordinator will recalculate the optimal upgrade order for Edge nodes or clusters to minimise T0 downtime.
