Issue/Introduction

The Red Hat MetaData Import task started failing, and we see errors like these in the Altiris Log Viewer:

• Download failed for 'https://cdn.redhat.com/content/dist/layered/rhel9/x86_64/dirsrv/12/os/repodata/repomd.xml'. The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
• Error importing packages information. Download failed.
• Failed to import software packages information for: 'Red Hat Directory Server 12 for RHEL 9 x86_64 (RPMs)' (2ce8d112-9044-4b05-a738-3a8cc362c055)

Resolution

Note: Available channels may change based on your subscriptions and/or Red Hat changes. Questions on channel availability or changes may be directed to Red Hat for clarification. 

To synchronize current state of previously imported channels with current state of channels:

• switch on option 'Delete data for excluded software channels'
• click on 'Import Channels'
• run the 'Import Patch Data for Red Hat' task again

Obsolete channels and their data will be removed.
