Issue/Introduction

When you try to upgrade Aria Operations for Logs, the upgrade fails with the following error message: Failed to upgrade: Not enough disk space!

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.x

Cause

/tmp mount does not have enough disk space available.

Resolution

Size up the node(s) which will increase the available space in /tmp and allow you to upgrade. The /tmp mount is a memory mapped partition. Increasing the system RAM increases the amount of space that will be available in /tmp. Sizing guidelines could be found here.
