Issue/Introduction

Partner decommissioned an AWS Billing Account which stops the costs at customer level but the reports are still showing Savings Plans - Unused charges post the cut off date. 

Resolution

  1. Savings plans unused is expected to show for remainder of month when the CUR files were removed.
  2. We recommend you exclude them from customer's monthly invoice for billing purposes.
  3. Then delete the billing blocks in following month to stop the 'Savings Plan - Unused' from rolling over.
