Issue/Introduction

New installation of Easytrieve release 11.6 product and getting an 806 error on a Pan/SQL module.
   Are Pan/SQL modules part of the CA Easytrieve installation?

 

 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Pan/SQL 2.4C (0203)

Resolution

You will need to install the Pan/SQL 2.4C product.  
It is a separate product from the Easytrieve Report Generator product.

Additional Information

Please note that if you have Pan/SQL 2.4C installed and running with a prior release of Easytrieve, then that Pan/SQL release will work just fine with Easytrieve release 11.6.  Sometimes clients combine Pan/SQL modules with Easytrieve modules.  In this case, please check the CAILIB from the prior release for DQ* modules.
