Goal/Threshold Line not working when creating a Trend chart in Performance Manager Portal

Issue/Introduction

We have created a trend chart in Portal with Goal/Threshold Line enabled, a Business Hour Filter enabled and Compress Non Business Hours enabled. The chart spins and does not appear.

Environment

Version: 24.2.6 and below
Component: Performance Management Dashboards/Reports

Cause

The root cause of the issue is enabling the "Compress Non Business Hours" with the Goal/Threshold Line enabled at the same time.

When selecting "Compress Non Business Hours" is enabled, the rendering with the goal line adds to many layers within the trend chart that leads to the spinning condition.

Resolution

This issue will be addressed in DX NetOps 24.3.7 when released. No specific release date set at the time this knowledge article was published.

Additional Information

Work around for 24.3.6 and below is to Disable "Compress Non Business Hours" when enabling the Goal/Threshold Line.
