What protocol is supported to upload ISG application image?

Issue/Introduction

On the ISG appliance, there is an option to upload the application image using "URL".

The ISG appliance does not have internet access.

Application images have been uploaded to the local server.

Resolution

The only supported protocols for uploading the ISG application image are HTTP and HTTPS.

ISG(config-images)# load http://<local server hostname or IP>/image.bcsi

ISG(config-images)# load https://<local server hostname or IP>/image.bcsi

 

If you attempt to use other protocols like FTP or SCP, there will be an error - "Invalid URL".

ISG(config-images)# load ftp://<local server hostname or IP>/image.bcsi
