SYSVIEW CTG monitor variable for threshold alerts

Issue/Introduction

We are in the process of setting up CICS CTG (cics transaction gateway) under SYSVIEW.  We would like to setup the threshold alerts and/or actions like when using sysview command CTHRESH.  However, we cannot find the variable under CTHRESH which pertaining to CTG. Where and how can setup those CTG related alerts under CTHRESH and what are those variables names are?

Resolution

Typically any value that is in the METRICS screen can be used to create thresholds in RULES.   However, there currently are no metrics for CTG.  Only real-time displays are available as of 2024.  To monitor CTG information use the JVM monitor.   Information for setting up CTG can be found in the section Configure CICS Transaction Gateway Monitoring of the SYSVIEW product manuals.
