Issue/Introduction

SMF Director step is failing with a CC=8 and the following error: 

CAF0009W  CA-SMF DIRECTOR INITIALIZATION FAILED - RC = 846

Environment

SMF Director 12.7

Resolution

SMF Director is attempting to make a call to Common Services/LMP that tests whether or not the product can run.
The attempt to call fails, which means that CAIRIM has not run and initialized LMP services.  
Once LMP services are available, SMF Director should be able to run as expected.
