Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to perform a mass transfer or do you have to transfer one member at a time?   

 

 

 

 

Resolution

The TRANSFER action SCL can be built through the  Endevor Batch option: 

From the Endevor Primary Options Panel selected option 3 BATCH 

From the Batch Options Menu select option 1 Build SCL and add a member name to your Requested data set to store the TRANSFER action SCL statements. 

From the SCL GENERATION select option 9 for Transfer 

On the TRANSFER ELEMENTS panel :

In the FROM LOCATION fields one only needs the inventory names necessary to encompass the elements to be transferred.

In the TO LOCATION fields you will need to supply the inventory names if they are changing

Set LIST OPTION DISPLAY LIST to N 

Endevor will build the SCL to transfer all the members in that inventory location. 

The SCL can be viewed  by going back to the Batch Options Menu panel and select EDIT to view the SCL that was built.

At this point the transfer actions can be executed selecting option 3 to submit the batch job.
