Issue with deleting empty buckets from the VMware Cloud Director Object Storage Extension interface

Issue/Introduction

• You are unable to delete folders (either empty or full) from the vCloud Director Object Storage interface.
• The folder was removed from underlying object storage infrastructure, but the Cloud Director Interface doesn't update the folder structure in Object Storage Extension UI to reflect the folder removal.  

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1
VMware Object Storage Extension 2.2.2 

Cause

There are stale entries in Object Storage Extension Database that causes the issue. 

Resolution

This is a known issue which can affect the mentioned versions of VMware Cloud Director and VMware Object Storage Extension.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, open a new case with the Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation Support Team. For more information, see How to Submit a Support Request
