DCI Budget View and IBM zPCA report values comparison

Issue/Introduction

Both DCI Budget View report and IBM zPCA (Z Performance and Capacity Analytics) do not report the same MSUs monthly values reported by IBM SCRT but DCI is reporting differences on the scale of thousands of MSUs compared with SCRT values, while IBM zPCA solution shows differences on the scale of tens of MSUs only. Is there any explanation?

Resolution

DCI collects its own statistics but it doesn't know how exactly IBM SCRT does its arithmetic. A possible explanation is that IBM zPCA is using the same snapshot data as SCRT and it's privy to how SCRT does its arithmetic.
