UI upgrade failing for Avi version 22.1.6

Issue/Introduction

UI upgrade failing for Avi version 22.1.6 

UI gets stuck with the error: "Please wait while the system completes final checks. This may take up to  one minute"

 

Cause

Upgrade response from the portal to the backend is larger than expected. 

The bug can be identified from the API response for https://<controller-address>/api/upgrade while upgrading from UI. It returns "received message larger than max". 

Resolution

Workaround: Upgrade from CLI. Please refer to below document:

The bug is fixed in 22.1.7, 31.1.1, 30.2.1
