VCO cannot send an SNMP trap when Standby HA edge fails

Issue/Introduction

SNMP Trap sending feature is enabled in VCO and when the Standby node fails in an HA configuration, the VCO screen shows that the SNMP Trap was sent successfully. However, in reality, the Trap is not being received.

Environment

VMware SD-WAN Orchestrator Version R6004 or earlier
HA is enabled

Cause

This is a known issue in VCO. We are aware of this problem, but there is no scheduled fix at this time.

Resolution

Currently, there is no workaround or fixed version for this issue.
