No vCenters are visible in Aria Operations Inventory page when logged in using the All vCenters option

Issue/Introduction

• Aria Operations 8.18.1 and when logged in using the All vCenters option there is no data shown in the Inventory page in the UI.

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

• The user account being used to log in to Aria Operations has different roles assigned in the integrated vCenters.
• Different roles cause the Inventory view to be blank in Aria Operations as it cannot determine what permission to assign to the account.

Resolution

• Log in to each vCenter and verify the account has the same role assigned to it.
• Once the roles have been edited, log out and in again to Aria Operations.
