The salt master is not propagating the pillar data to the minions

Issue/Introduction

The salt-master provides pillar data to the minion at various times. The minion can cache this data. Sometimes this data can become corrupted so the minion can not read it 

Environment

salt-master all version

Resolution

The minion cache can be removed from all minions with the following command run from the salt-master so it will be recreated

salt-run cache.clear_all
