2. Some vIDM source works fine in Aria Operations 8.18.

3. The following is the error.

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.x

vIDM (Worksspace ONE Access) 3.3.7

Cause

In Aria Operations for Logs, when adding the new group under Management > Access Control > Directory Group, the Domain name automatically shows up is still the default one that was specified when configured with VMware Workspace ONE Access.

Resolution

1. In vIDM (now Workspace ONE Access) portal, locate the Group Name and Domain Name (this is the domain populated from AD). See example below:

2. When adding a new group under Management > Access Control > Directory Group, the Domain should be System Domain as shown, which is the Active Directory name for the group. Then Name should be vRBC_Administrator as shown.
