Suppress the ADSDC195 4371 PERCENT USED message

Issue/Introduction

During Disk™ Backup and Restore processing with Datacom/AD as database, the following messages received:
ADSDC195 4371 PERCENT USED: nn% - OF n,nnn TOTAL BLOCKS nnn BLOCKS ARE IN USE
ADSDC195 4371 PERCENT USED: nn% - OF n,nnnTOTAL BLOCKS nnn BLOCKS ARE IN USE

Resolution

There is a Disk user exit that can be coded to suppress such messages into the CMDPRINT, MSGPRINT or SYSPRINT. This exit is the SYSOUTEX. Refer SYSOUTEX - SYSOUT Exit for more details.
Attached to this KD there is a code exit sample that can be used to accomplish this message suppression.
