During CA Disk processing with Datacom/AD as database, we get the following messages:
ADSDC195 4371 PERCENT USED: 14% - OF 4,200 TOTAL BLOCKS 587 BLOCKS ARE IN USE
ADSDC195 4371 PERCENT USED: 11% - OF 1,800 TOTAL BLOCKS 203 BLOCKS ARE IN USE
Could we have a parameter permitting to suppress these messages please?
You have a CA Disk user exit that can be coded to suppress such messages into the CMDPRINT, MSGPRINT or SYSPRINT. This exit is the SYSOUTEX. Its description can be found inSYSOUTEX.MSG.txt the System Guide Chapter 7 User Exits.
Here is a code exit sample that can be used to accomplish this message suppression. It is attached to this KB.
As always, please contact CA Technologies support for CA Disk if you have further questions.
