Issue/Introduction

Recently the salt repository was migrated to packages.broadcom.com. As the URL and file locations have changed the salt-bootstrap.sh must be refactored to account for these changed. This work is currently underway in the below github bug. This affects linux minions deployed from Aria Automation as well as minion deployed from Salt using the salt-bootstrap.sh script.

Environment

Aria Automation Config - All supported version

Salt-minion - All supported versions

Resolution

The is being addressed in the github bug mentioned above but it is also possible to follow the following article to configure linux minion deployments from Aria Automation/Aria Automation Config to be deployed in air gap mode. The deployment of the minion uses a local copy of the installer rather then retrieving it from the repository.
