Issue/Introduction

Transfer are failing with message "XCOMU0492E MAXRECLEN exceeds limit for record packing" after upgrading to XCOM r12.0 for Linux

Environment

XCOM Data Transport for Linux

Cause

The  value for parameter CARRIAGE_FLAG, which is found in $XCOM_HOME/config/xcom.cnf, is now set to XPACK by default.

Resolution

Please change the value of CARRIAGE_FLAG=XPACK to YES or apply fix LU15363.
