You are creating a silent install string for the DCS Linux Agent and need to know what options are available for scanMode and notify are.

Resolution

Here are the details for notify and scanmode:

Parameter: notify - enable notification port listener (Default is on)
If this feature is not enabled, the agent will check on by it's configured interval, default is every 5 minutes.

-notify=<0|1>
Indicates whether to enable notification.
When enabled, the agent listens on the notification port to broadcast alerts from the management server. The broadcast alerts instruct the agent to immediately update to a new policy. This feature requires an unblocked notification port.

Parameter: scanMode - Set detection level. If AP and AMD are disabled this setting is not needed

-scanMode=<value>
Lets you specify the scanner detection mode. Default is 4

Indicates the scanner detection mode for the anti-malware feature.
Default value:  4
1 = heuristic detection without cloud
2 = cloud enhanced heuristic
3 = all detection on-box defs only
4 = cloud enhanced for all detections
