Virtual Machine Advanced Filtering Options fails in VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1.23400185

Issue/Introduction

When opening a customer VMware Cloud Director Tenancy and going to the virtual machines tab, choosing "advanced filtering", selecting any of the last four options "Stuck, Powered On, Powered Off, Invalid" result in an error and no VM's being displayed. The Powered On/Off filters further up the list work, however the bottom four all give errors.

Error Message: No enum constant com.vmware.vcloud.api.presentation.entity.vdc.ResourceEntityStatus.ON, No enum constant com.vmware.vcloud.api.presentation.entity.vdc.ResourceEntityStatus.INVALID, No enum constant com.vmware.vcloud.api.presentation.entity.vdc.ResourceEntityStatus.OFF, No enum constant com.vmware.vcloud.api.presentation.entity.vdc.ResourceEntityStatus.STUCK

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director Version: 10.5.1.1

Cause

This issue is caused by a bug introduced in version 10.5.1.1, Build Number - 23400185.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, upgrade your VMware Cloud Director environment to version 10.6.0 or later. In this version, the issue has been addressed.
