Issue/Introduction

  • Regardless of the size of the file passed to the API, a 413 error is encountered via API or Python SDK code that uses Carbon Black Cloud Live Response File API
  • Full error indicates:

413 Request Entity Too Large

Environment

    • Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
      • Endpoint Standard
    • Endpoint Standard API

 

Resolution

  • This issue is currently being investigated by Carbon Black engineers under the scope of CRE-19578
  • No workaround at this time
