Issue/Introduction

When creating You see a similar entry,

Error: Unable to create Lookup Service gateway

Environment

VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.x

Cause

VMware Cloud Director Availability not able to communicate with vCenter. 

Resolution

  • Verify the vCenter url in VMware Cloud Director Availability UI
  • Apply the lookup service in all the VMware Cloud Director Availability appliance (Replicator, Tunnel, Manger and Cloud).
  • Go to the setting of all the appliance and select lookup service.
  • Click edit and save.
