Issue/Introduction

When trying to create a Domain, the AdminUI returns :

ERROR MESSAGE: SmApiWrappedException:Class CA.SM::Domain does not have attribute CA.SM::Domain.IMSEnvironmentsLink

No related messages appear in the Smps.log.

IDM is not installed in the environment. Adding the IDM extensions to the Policy Store did not resolve the issue.

Cause

Check the Windows registry or the sm.registry file for this entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Netegrity\SiteMinder\CurrentVersion=#########
ImsInstalled=8.0

 

 

Resolution

If present, this indicates that IDM was installed at some point in the past and the SM registry has a record of it.

Make a backup of your registry and remove the ImsInstalled=8.0 entry

Restart the Policy Server and the error message should be resolved
