When managing mobile devices in the SEP Mobile Management Console (MC), it is observed that recently enrolled devices do not offer the options to send Device WakeUp or Enable Background App Refresh notifications. These options are greyed out and listed as not available.
Android and / or iOS devices running the SEP Mobile app and managed in the SEP Mobile MC.
This is expected behavior for newly enrolled devices.
There is an expected delay following new device enrollment before an administrator can send notifications to the device from the MC. Please wait 4 to 6 hours following enrollment, and the push notification functions should become available.
