Can we hide the Spectrum OneClick URL behind a Vanity URL when Using SSO\SAML?

Issue/Introduction

We have a vanity URL for our F5 Load balancer that masks the URL for the OneClick host the user is logged onto.

Once we implemented SSO\SAML we are now seeing the actual hostname and port of the WebApp Instance.

Can we still hide the Spectrum OneClick URL behind a Vanity URL once we enable SSO\SAML?

 

Environment

Spectrum 23.3.x, 24.3.x

Resolution

• Instead of providing the URL listed under OneClick > Administration > Single Sign On > SAML > Spectrum Information > SAML Service Provider, provide the vanity URL to the IDP team.
• Load the IDP Metadata File provided by the IDP group and the fediz_config.xml will be constructed to use the vanity URL.
