"on action" alarms from the processes probe don't clear when the process starts again

Issue/Introduction

When an alert is created from "On Action" after a number of retries, this alert does not clear when the process is started again, even though there is a clear message in the message pool for this.

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.*
• processes probe 4.84

 

Cause

The attached processes probe version addresses this issue: processes_4.84-HF1

 

Fixes included in the Hotfix:

•  Fixed an issue where alerts triggered by the "On Action + Process Down" condition did not clear after the process was restarted following a number of retries.
•  Resolved the issue where the retries counter was not resetting when the process restarted.
•  Addressed a bug where the maximum retry count did not match the exact retry count, causing incorrect behavior.
