Issue/Introduction

Unable to install  the monthly platform patched on gateway 11.1.

Its failing, error in the log: ERROR : "You must install API Gateway version 11.1 Monthly Platform Patch. It follows naming convention Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v11.1-Debian-YYYY-MM-DD.L7P." But the patch follows that naming convention:  Error installing Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v11.1-Debian-2024-08-26

Cause

The customer forgot to install "Layer7_Api_Platformupdate_v11.1.00-Debian-17707.L7P.

When we try to install it now , when uploading the file there is a  error:  "The patch contains Signed entries that are not signed by the alias in the keystore:  ..."

Resolution

Make sure all patches prior  GW 11.1.1 are installed before installing the PMS 2.0 update  older patches can not be applied after upgrading PMS as they are signed with another certificate .
