In an Enhanced High Availability setup with different number of WAN facing interfaces between the two Edges (for example original Active has 2 WAN links and original Standby 1 link), if the link on the LAN environment of the original Active goes down, a failover takes place (expected behavior). After the failover, it might be observed that one of the WAN links of the now Standby box (original Active) is unable to build tunnels to remote endpoints (SD-WAN link is down)
Enhanced High Availability setup with different number of links on the two boxes
Issue is known software defect #148063 which pertains to same link identifier being assigned to more than 1 link on the new Standby device. This causes enhanced HA packets to be forwarded out of the incorrect link on the Standby device and tunnels to not be built through all available interfaces.
Fix will be included on upcoming Release 6.1.0.0. If you face the issue until that release becomes available, please reach to Support mentioning issue #148063.
