Issue/Introduction

• Running debug-auto-import under cell-management-tool complains about VMs not being in a resource pool even though VMs are successfully imported and managed by Cloud Director :

Virtual machine is present in a resource pool (resgroup-xxxxx) not managed by vCD.

Environment

Cloud Director 10.6

Cause

The issue occurs due to a change meant to improve auto-import-debug reporting. The change is supposed to find VMs out of VCD resource pools but the SQL query mistakenly finds VMs in vCD resource pools instead.

Resolution

The message is benign and can be ignored. The issue will be fixed in next major release of Cloud Director.
