Error: "Virtual machine is present in a resource pool (resgroup-xxxxx) not managed by vCD." in Cloud Director debug-auto-import even though the VM is successfully discovered

Issue/Introduction

• Running the debug-auto-import command of the  cell-management-tool complains about VMs not being in a resource pool even though VMs are successfully imported and managed by Cloud Director :

Virtual machine is present in a resource pool (resgroup-xxxxx) not managed by vCD.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.0

Cause

The issue occurs due to a change meant to improve auto-import-debug reporting. The change is supposed to find VMs out of VCD resource pools but the SQL query mistakenly finds VMs in vCD resource pools instead.

Resolution

The message is benign and can be ignored.

The issue is fixed from Cloud Director 10.6.1 onward and the check is performed correctly
