Issue/Introduction

Does CARA support the display of information banners in the GUI? 
3rd party independent broadcasting channels can be used to advertise application upgrades and availability.
But it would be good if a banner could be added in the GUI itself to inform users of upcoming outages.

Environment

Nolio Release Automation, all supported releases

Resolution

There is currently no "banner" option for the ROC and an enhancement request for it has been raised.
Note that if the Nolio Management Server (NAC) is down, then it will not be able to display a banner. So the banner would only be able to show a future planned outage, rather than a current outage. 
A third party banner tool might still be helpful for a current outage.
