Dynatrace intermittently shows a warning that VMware ESX server availability is less than 90%
During these periods, Dynatrace shows no data being recorded for the hosts, which is what is triggering the warnings.
This is caused by an issue with the Dynatrace plugin where it occasionally doesn't sync properly with vCenter.
This is not a VMware issue, will need to open up an SR with Dynatrace and work with their support to isolate the problem and resolve it
