Issue/Introduction

Introduction:

Upgrading from CA IPC 11.0 to CA IPC 14.0, IDEA gives error 1-IDADERRP18E - INTERR: LIB cannot be accessed, LIB=IDDAT.  Discovered that the FCT definition for IDDAT was CLOSED/ENABLED and was not changed in this upgrade.

Question:

Has there been a change in the FCT definition for IDDAT? Do I need to update the FCT for IDDAT (and maybe others) to use OPEN/ENABLED?

Answer:

The FCT definition for IDDAT is found in member IL14FCT in the CA Ideal CAILSAMP library.  IDDAT is defined as OPEN/ENABLED along with IDVW, ID$IDSRC, ID$IDPNL and ID$IDOBJ.
