Issue/Introduction

When EDM or AD Index is being created on a schedule, it hangs on creating status and never completes.

Cause

This can be caused by a hung library that is also used in MIP label sync.  If MIP label sync is failing to complete, it can hang this library to create the index.

Resolution

First canel all EDM/IDM or AD Index jobs that are stuck in a creating state.  Next disable MIP label sync or remove the MIP profile so its not used at all.  After this restart the Manager service.  That or you can address the MIP label sync and make sure it completes fine.  This might be difficult unless you can upgrade to 16.0 RU2.  As another potential workaround, you can restart the manager service after the MIP sync fails and schedule your EDM/IDM and AD index jobs to run after the restart.
