Z/OSMF issue creating duplicate workflow datasets while in product installation. Receives error Message "IZUD529E Target workflow dataset has same name as another target dataset".
This issue applies to any product installation through Z/OSMF.
When saving the deployment process midway(which is an option offered) so that you can continue if for any reason you have to halt the installation and continue from the saved step later. After resuming the deployment from the last saved step which is when the error occurs, one more workflow file is created in addition to the one which was created originally. This creates two workflow files with duplicate names which causes the error. The error will prevent the installation.

Z/OSMF Product Problem.
Following is the Workaround for the duplicate dataset issue in Z/OSMF.
1) Change one of the Workflow DSN names by adding an ‘X” to the **.CAI.** ie. make it **.CAIX.** this will clear out the error message. Click on to the next screen and save again.
2) Go back to the dataset screen, it will have the new name, but no error message. Change the name back (remove the x so CAIX becomes CAI again) and you will be able to proceed with the deployment.
The advantage of doing this twice is it prevents the need to make manual updates in the JCL for the WORKFLOW dataset.
