Issue:
After I installed NFA and logged in, the UI is not rendering any graphics beside the text.
Environment:
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition
Cause:
Web Server (IIS) Support feature missing from pre-requirements.
Resolution:
- Log in as a user who has administrator privileges for CA Network Flow Analysis.
- Open Server Manager.
- In the Dashboard, select Add roles and features.
If the Before you begin page displays, click Next.
- In the Select installation type page, select Role-based or feature-based installation.
Click Next.
- In the Select destination server page, select Select a server from the server pool. Select the appropriate server from the Server Pool list, then click Next.
- In the Select server roles page, select Application Server. Click Next.
- In the Select features page:
- Expand .NET Framework 3.5 Features.
- Select .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0), if not already checked.
- Select HTTP Activation, if not already checked.
Click Add Features when prompted.
- Select Non-HTTP Activation, if not already checked.
- Select SNMP Service.
Select Include management tools (if applicable), if not already checked.
Click Add Features when prompted.
- Expand User Interfaces and Infrastructure.
- Select Desktop Experience.
Click Add Features when prompted.
- Click Next.
- In the Application Server page, click Next.
- In the Select role services page:
- Select COM+ Network Access.
- Select Web Server (IIS) Support.
Click Add Features when prompted.
- Click Next.
- In the Web Server Role (IIS) page, click Next.
- In the Select role services page:
- Select ASP.NET 3.5 (in the Application Development section).
- Select ASP (in the Application Development section).
- Select IIS 6 Management Compatibility (in the Management Tools section).
- Click Next.
- The Confirm installation selections page summarizes your actions and displays related messages.
If you are prompted to specify an alternate source path, click Specify an alternate source path.
- Specify the path to the SxS Sources on the Windows Install CD, then click OK.
- Install the role services and options you selected:
- Click Install.
The Results page opens when the installation or upgrade is complete.
- (Optional) Click Print, e-mail, or save the installation/upgrade report, review the information, then close the page.
- Click Restart Server.
