Unable to edit time synchronization settings in vSphere Replication

Issue/Introduction

• In the vSphere Replication Management Interface (VAMI), a user cannot configure an NTP server.
• A red banner with the following error message apears:
  
  Unable to connect to: panic, default kod nomodify notrap nopeer, -6,
/var/lib/ntp/drift/ntp.drift,  <NTP server's IP address>

vSphere Replication 9.0

Resolution

Enter only the IP address or FQDN of one or more NTP servers.
