Error: "Invalid Activation Key" when activating SD-WAN Edge

Issue/Introduction

During the edge activation process, the activation fails with error "Invalid activation key - check orchestrator event logs for more details"

The VECO shows error "LAN Addressing needs to be configured before activating this edge" in the "Configure" section for the edge.

Environment

VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN VECO running release 6.0.x or earlier

Cause

This is caused by known issue 139739

Resolution

Provision new edge without specifying a serial number.

If the edge is already provisioned, delete the unactivated edge, and provision a new edge without specifying the serial number.

This issue will be fixed in SD-WAN VECO release 6.1.x
