Issue/Introduction

Issue/Problem/Symptoms: 

What action should be taken when a user or users get the following message:LIB03 LIBRARY LINE LIMIT EXCEEDED - NO ACTION TAKEN.

Cause: 

This message means that the user has exceeded the line limit specified in his UPS prefix.  

Resolution/Workaround:

The user can:

• Delete unnecessary members such as old SAVAWS's, ZZZZxx members.
• Go through their own library members to see if there are any members that can be deleted.

Operations can

• Periodically run the LIBINACT program to archive inactive members.
• The UPS administrator may increase the user's LINE COUNT via UPSMNT60.
